Lead Management

In Lead Management, the leader’s role is to create an environment where others are encouraged to take ownership of their choices and contribute meaningfully toward shared goals of the organisation. This involves listening, understanding individual needs, setting clear expectations, and working together to find solutions. Instead of telling people what to do, the leader inspires and supports them to make responsible choices that benefit both the individual and the group.

This approach fosters stronger relationships, higher motivation, and better results because people are more engaged when they feel empowered and respected. It contrasts sharply with Boss Management, which relies on external control, punishment, or rewards to enforce behaviour. Lead Management, therefore, aligns with Glasser’s belief that lasting change and satisfaction come from internal motivation and responsible choice.
